Vimala Raman’s all set to dazzle in a brand new sexy avatar for her new film. “Hey, you can’t expect an NRI girl to wear traditional outfits. The role demanded the kind of clothes I wore,” she says in the defensive mode. But wasn’t sporting a bikini taking things too far? Vimala insists that she wasn’t seeking “cheap publicity” and hasn’t gone “overboard” either. “I wore a bikini just for a song sequence…it’s no big deal,” she says. Considering that women in Tollywood hardly get to do meaty roles, is this new image meant to compete with hotties Anushka, Ileana and Nayanthara, in the skin show race?
